A new look and purpose

My interests are varied and change as often as the roll of toilet paper in my bathroom. Almost every day I find something new that I want to explore. Some of my recent interest have included writing Labyrinth fan fiction, EVP's, bankruptcy, creating a My Space profile, winning an iPod, switching to a Mac and the list goes on and on.

Instead of using my blog as a personal journal for mindless rambling it's going to have a purpose. I will chronicle all of my online explorations, fleeting obsessions, momentary favorites, current causes and whatnot.

I found a nifty site last night called BuzzDash. Create your own polls to share with friends or post in your blog. BuzzDash might even feature your poll on their site. Look up my polls at BuzzDash by typing in "niteflytes" (no quotes) in their search field. I've included one of my polls below.

Del.icio.us is old news on the net but last night I finally checked out what it's all about. Turns out it's an option for storing, organizing and sharing online bookmarks. I'm not sure if I'll become a del.icio.us convert but it's fun to play with the tags, especially when viewed as a tag cloud.
