I've done a lot to try and improve my new house. I've hung new light
fixtures in the dining room, above the kitchen sink, in my bathroom and
outside. I put in a new doorbell button outside. I've worked on the yard,
recaulked my tub, and tried to fix my toilet. I put a new door knob and bolt
lock on my French doors (not as easy as it should have been!). Every single
time I do something it seems to go WRONG! Tonight I tried to put new insides
in my toilet. Now I have to replace the water shut-off valve because I broke
off the pipe from the shut-off to the toilet. Yikes! At least the caulking
went ok...so far. I can't use the tub until Tuesday afternoon. That will be
the true test! Tomorrow I have to get the replacement part for my toilet and
hope I don't break anything else in the process of fixing what I broke
tonight.
