Now I'm waiting to find out if the seller signs the purchase agreement. I asked for some allowances in my offer, which the seller agreed to. I want the carpet and ductwork cleaned since the people living there have a cat and I'm allergic to cats (the house is being rented out right now). The stove doesn't have a hood above it and I asked for a hood with a microwave. I asked for the two sinks that are chipped to be replaced. I also asked that the wood floor in the dining area be refinished since the finish has worn off. I also put a contingency on my offer: purchase is contingent upon selling or renting out my mobile home within 30 days of the date the seller accepts the offer. When the seller counter-offered they were hesitant about that so I accepted their offer with the condition that they agree to the 30 days. My realtor is confident that the sellers will agree.
The lease for the renters in that house is up on May 15th so I couldn't move in before then...assuming everything goes well and I get the house. This means that if I find a renter for my house that we may have to move into an apartment temporarily (yuck). But I'll do what I must to get out of here.
For more information on the house I've made an offer on go to it's listing HERE
I built and furnished the house in the game, The Sims 2. To see it go HERE
Keep in mind that it's not to scale and I had to work within the limitations of the game. But it's a fairly good model of the house.
And lastly, but most importantly, if you know of anyone who might be interested in renting or purchasing my house direct them to my house web site at www.house4u.info
HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY!!!
