Oh my. Someone mistook one of my bloggie gripes personally. It was a global gripe. A blanket statement that can apply to so many situations and people - past, present, future. Sometimes...ok, lots of times, there are things that happen during my days that I just can't talk about, even in my blog. They're confidential things. So, I vent my frustrations using vague, global statements. Statements like I can't believe how shallow, narrow-minded and selfish some people are. That could apply to someone I know. Or someone I used to know. Or people I don't care to know. Or all of the above. But it's not about anyone in particular. If I'm bloggin about ya, you're gonna know it! :-)

Now for a funny story. This happened several weeks ago. I went to a friends house and this friend had made a cheesecake for my visit. How nice! When my friend opened the door I was greeted by a very sad face. It seems the bottom of the springform pan fell to floor, taking the cheesecake with it!!! The cheesecake splattered a bit on the fridge and the floor but most of it never left the the pan. I can deal with that. But where was the cheesecake? In the SINK!!!! I rescued a piece before the rest of it got rinsed down the drain. It was excellent cheesecake! Now it's a standing joke between us! Somewhere I have a recipie for kitchen sink stew that I need to find.
