I love resale shops. My daughter commented the other day that I'm addicted to junk. I bought a cute little board with pegs and thought I'd try decorating it with decopage. It turned out great! E was helping me cut out the butterflies and leaves. She somehow didn't notice the lit candles on the table and the next thing I knew there was a piece of paper in flames! I grabbed it and blew out the fire before it caused any damage to anything other than the piece of paper. One disaster avoided. Unlike this morning when my dog tripped over a cord and pulled a friends computer off the counter. I had it here working on getting a virus off of it. I'm afraid it may have more problems than just a virus after it's crash to the floor. I hope and pray that I can get it fixed and working after I pick up the restore disks my friend found. If not I guess I'll be replacing a computer. I hope there are still some available for sale at work. One of those would be perfect and the price is reasonable. Speaking of work, I had a little bit of sadistic fun this morning. In a moment of insanity I took over the kitchen clean-up calendar. This morning I went office to office getting my co-workers signed up for their kitchen time. I enjoyed the reactions from everyone. I guess I could take offense at some of the comments and reactions but it's more fun to approach life with a dash of humor and make the best of things. And when I can get a smile and a little laughter from someone it's well worth the effort.
